Minor outrage

Seen on the vending machine at Flipper's school yesterday.

He's in sixth grade. Size matters? Really? Sure, it'll go over their heads (hopefully), but does the double entendre need to be there in the first place?

BTW, Im on a minor tear about public signage. I recently made Clear Channel fix a stupid typo in some signs they have up all over downtown.

See it? How about a little bigger? Size matters, after all:

Squeeky? Nope. Squeaky. After three complaints in a month, they finally changed them:

Now I can sleep at night. Whew.

You got the grease, baby. Good for you.

As for the vending machine sign? I admire your restraint. I would've taken a baseball bat to that shit.

Though you do look awfully pissed.

And cute. ;)

I'm speachless.

Yes, Hershey, kids need more things about which to feel self-conscious. Thanks for the taunt, too!

It's good you squeeked loudly enough to get the sign changed.

Hooray for grammartarians!

4:58 AM

Where do I lodge my complaint about this?

"Sure, it'll go over there heads"

11:45 AM

Anthony - I wish I could say that was intentional. It was not. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.

I fixed it.

5:54 PM

I wrote a letter to the school.

They're taking the sticker down.

6:44 PM

Gimme a dollar for some chocolates
Candy this size don't cost two bits
Now things are cool at elementary school
'Cause sysm just a-wrote 'em a letter

Sysm wrote 'em a letter
Cause size doesn't matter to a sixth grader

Of my Baby Ruth or – Milky Way-ay...

Dr. Sardonic's been sniffing his own lab fumes again.

3:47 PM

A student in my science class did an end-term project entitled "Diameter does matter!" I don't think/really hope she didn't know what she was saying. It would change everything I ever knew.
