The past 24 hours with the sysmidgets:

Sysmidget84 turns 21. Eek. We've been on the outs for a long time, but things seem to be gradually improving. I'm keeping optimistic that we'll keep moving the right way.

Out at one of those pumpkin farm things, sysmidget96 helps a little girl who is scared of one of those potato sack slides. The girl's mother, a teacher, comments on how she can't remember being around a nicer boy.

Sysmidget97 has fits of hysterical laughter when I explain that we didn't name him at birth for almost 2 days. We explain that we kept asking him his name, but he just kept making gurgling sounds. Okay. It's funny to an eight year old.

The Sysmidget00 models show off what they learned in gymnastics class, showing a level of physical fitness that is amazing for their age. But then one of them wakes up from a nightmare, and needs some quality hug time to settle down.
