When the Sysmistress and I were preparing for the birth of our oldest boy, Flipper, we had a discussion with her OB/Gyn about whether or not we wanted the baby circumcised. The Sysmistress and the Doc were both for it, I was against. The following arguments were advanced:

Them: An uncircumcised penis is hard to keep clean.
Me: Yeah. It's hard to brush kids' teeth too. Should we cut his lips off?

Them: It will look different than yours. This'll make it awkward to potty train.
Me: I hope that scale is the most differentiating factor. And puberty.

Them: There are a lot of nerve endings in the foreskin. As an adult, he will climax too easily.
Me: The ratio of assisted to solo climaxes would suggest that this is a Darwinian attempt at effective time management.

My objections were over-ruled.
