The pupil has become the Master


I've been teaching my 8-year-old and 9-year-old boys how to play poker. The 8-year-old (I can't remember his name for the life of me) just beat me. Fair and square.

This happens. How it happens I do not know, but it does. I was beaten, fair and square, at Monopoly the other day by a six-year old. (I have trouble with names too.)

I know the feeling, I just lost a tequila drinking contest to my 5 year old. I think that the sippy straw must have some sort of alcohol absorbing qualities.
