I looked for enlightenment...
...and I had to brush my teeth three times.
The Meat & Egg Society regularly meets at our headquarters to partake in our ritual meal: a triple bacon cheeseburger with a fried egg on top. We've been known to take special trips to Chicago's finest encased meat emporium as well. And Al Gato and I have driven an hour out of our way to get to a Chick-fil-a.
So, when Dilf's new employers touted their own guily pleasure burger joint, In-n-Out, I was eager to sample their wares. Especially when I learned of their "secret" menu. The verdict - I think this one of those things, like 3 a.m. burritos, that are probably loved for their contribution to a bad morning-after gastro-intestinal story.
Fifteen hours later, and after far too many rounds of oral hygiene, I can still taste it.

4:02 PMI requested a "Protein-Style," and got something (humiliatingly) different. Best to stick with the traditional American-Style hot dog.

Mrs. Dryesdale adores the ol In-Out Burger! Hmmm that doesn't sound very gentlmanly... though Mrs. Dryesdale is no gentlman. Why, she hasn't so much as held a door open for me since our wedding day.

every time family comes here from Canada, they have to go to in-and-out.. I think the record was 5 times in one trip.. they get addicted!
I like the fries..they actually start in the restaurant as potatoes!
