B.A.Dickie Goodman recorded novelty records from the 1950's through the 1970's. His records used samples of popular hits as the punch lines for sub-Catskills level humor. They're just patently awful. But if you were of a nose-picking, prepubescent age, these were perfect.

Thank you so much! I was suddenly transported to a simpler time. A golden era when I would stay up late listening to WLS or Super CFL on my 9-volt radio, which was concealed under my pillow in the hope that my father wouldn't catch me and kick the living shit...
...maybe it wasn't all that idyllic after all. But man, I loved that song.
Also I liked Run, Joey Run!
But as I type that, I realize that there's an abusive faather in that song.
