Come Softly To Me

I love this almost as much as I love egg.

From the always fun bedazzled.com.

Also there - scenes from Dr. Sardonic's prom.

2:19 PM

I share your enthusiasm for both Come Softly and the Egg Song. Someone oughta do a mash-up: "Come Softly Boiled Egg" – it almost writes itself.

Re your archival video: many fond memories there. What few people realize is the number of firsts documented in that footage:

1. First performance to feature wireless electric-guitar amp transceivers.
2. First (and only) use of wireless electricity (to power the transceivers, amps and organ, of course).
3. First (and last) time FDC was sober enough to play drums for a recording (albeit not sober enough to actually be allowed on camera).

2:36 PM

please spread your love of egg to include brown eggs and speckled eggs.

it's only right.

5:23 PM

No. We're Egglitists.

Sysm loves the little chickens
All the little chickens in the world
Brown and yellow, speckled, white
Eggs are precious in his sight
Sysm loves all kinds of poultry in the world

That goddamn racist egg song still haunts me.

"Come Softly," on the other hand, is a delight. And such choreography!
