The Covered Man And His Music (David Soul)

Pausing his audience to contemplate his art
The Covered Man sang songs to hearts
Giving us music to find delight
He freely shares his gladness
Singing songs of kind words
Comforting hearts with love
As he shares his love of music
His presence brought grace to satisfy
His sound would brighten up your eyes
He sings with a voice, like no other you heard
He has made himself known for his music
And such lovely music with magic power
Lifting hearts with care

Music is a treasure, we grasp for thought
The Covered Man delivered as hearts sought
Bringing us joy with gentle words
Seeing us smile, he would smile :)
Though, his smile was covered for a while
He wanted to be known for his music
Then to reveal his belief, "I Am Who I Am"
He is the Covered Man and his music abides

What lies beneath the mask of The Covered Man
A man brought to light, giving us precious moments
Thru his dreams of being known for his music
A glorious panorama took on the greatest show
The Covered Man was revealed as David Soul
