Blammo (via Wham-O!)

Look to the skies! Death from above, in handy disc sized bites. The military is experimenting with Frisbee-styled drone weaponry.

In related child products turned to instrument of death news, the Sysmidgets were paying worship to Mount Tiki-Soki on Sunday. This is a sprinkler that builds up water pressure, until it erupts in a spray of watery goodness. They learned that if they placed light objects on his head, the eruptions would send the objects into the air. Of course, the next logical step was to prepare an item for launch, and then stand astride -- waiting for the projectile to be hurled into their groin. This must be something I've grown out of. These days, projectiles to my groin are rarely self-initiated, and almost never welcome.

P.S. Completely unrelated. Nearing completion of the "His Dark Materials" series, this is pretty awesome.

My favorite exchange:

Sysm: "Don't do that, it's going to hurt."
