EMERGENCY BAD MUSIC THURSDAY UPDATE

We hit the bottom, and we kept digging.

I'm proud to present...

Stephen Seagall & Thunderbox

Thunderbox.

Say it out loud.

A few years ago, friends of mine were visiting from out of town. The only way that I could see them was if I met them at a concert. They were dying to see - let me collect myself - Jim Belushi and Dan Aykroyd, touring behind a truly dreadful CD called "Have Love Will Travel".

I've had better times at church.

I'm not their friend any more.

Seagall is no worse than Belushi. Though admittedly, that bar is not set very high. He is almost as qualified to play mediocre bar band blues as he is to perform as an action hero. And he plays a Flying V! The only other people I've seen playing a Flying V are Paul Stanley and Rick Nielsen.

BTW, Gibson Guitars has renamed the Flying V the "V Factor". I'm guessing they thought "Flying V" sounded like a euphemism for an activity shared by two or more consenting adults. But so does a "Les Paul Standard."

7:18 AM

Sir, you have successfully combined a "Don't Wear Wednesday" with a "Bad Music Thursday."

I salute you.

9:27 AM

Doing a Les Paul Standard is my ulitimate fantasy.

9:35 AM

I think Al would look fetching in that lilac satin sleeveless shirt.

10:35 AM

I could wear it while we do the Les Paul Standard!

7:46 AM

I predict Steven Seagal's next role will be as celebrity Jenny Craig spokeswoman.

6:49 PM

Happy Anniversary.

1:03 AM

Your site is on top of my favourites - Great work I like it.
